Sevenoaks Air Cadet Hits The Target!
Cadet Corporal Alex Deakins, a member of 2158 (Sevenoaks) Squadron Air Cadets, has recently been recognised as one of the 100 best cadet target rifle shots in the country. Competing during the Inter Services Cadet Rifle Meeting at Bisley between the 10-13 July, against other Army Cadet and Sea Cadet units from across the country, he consistently achieved high scores which placed him 85th in the top 100.
For his achievement he was presented a National Rifle Association Cadet 100 award by Air Commodore Ian Stewart, Commandant Air Cadets.
