left: 40px; top: 120px; width: 750px; height: 120px; z-index: 3"> <p> Educational charity CVQO celebrated the achievements of a very special group of South London young people this week, in the prestigious surroundings of the Ironmonger s Hall, City of London. </p> <p> They are among a total of thirty young people to have been presented with their BTEC Level 1 Certificate in Team Work and Personal Skills in front of family, friends and dignitaries, including Mr Sheriff Richard Sermon MBE, and Alderman and Sheriff Fiona Woolf CBE Sheriffs of the City of London. </p> <p> CVQO, with the generous sponsorship and support of the Worshipful Company of Ironmongers, offered a group of sixty young people from the air, army and sea cadets across London the chance to be the first to earn the BTEC Level 1 qualification for their cadetting activities. This BTEC is one of a variety of new qualifications and awards offered by CVQO to members of the uniformed youth organisations, and the trial has proved highly successful. </p> <p> Many of these young people are having considerable difficulties at school and the cadet experience helps overcome a number of related issues.
