Former Kent Wing Cadet Graduates Into RAF, Collecting The Drill and Deportment Trophy
A very snowy RAF Honington for the Graduation Parade of LAC Matthew Barnes.
Matt was CWO at 340 Squadron and is well known to Kent Wing staff for his involvement in many activities including The International Aerospace Camp, Nijmegan and Junior Leaders. It is interesting that Matt was one of the first cadets to complete a Kent Wing Cadet Drill Instructors Course as, at the parade, he collected the Drill and Deportment Trophy. We were later told by one of the NCO instructors that Matt was VERY close to being awarded Best Recruit.
