Shooting Success At The RAF (RF) SAA's Open Shoot

The recent Open Shoot held by the RAF (RF) SAA at Tunbridge Wells Target Shooting Club was a great success with over 30, .22 match rifle, entrants. There were participants from far afield as Lincolnshire. Alan Collick of Soke Target club took the coverted Mille Punti, overall prize. He regularly shoots with ATC staff at his Boston target club.

You can also join this club as there as postal competitions throughout the year that ATC Squadron cadets and staff can participate in, as well as individual competence badges.

The winner of the Junior entry was Cadet Matthew Prentice, 2158(Sevenoaks) Sqn. It was his first time shooting at 50m and 100yds with a .22 match rifle, many congratulations to him. Matthew is part of the Kent Wing teams' entered for this years L81 Target rifle competition the Inter Services Cadet Rifle Meeting (ISCRM) at Bisley.
